The George Oliver Foundation
About George

Our son George died suddenly from a rare illness in June 2009 when he was 14 months old. He was a wonderful, funny, lively and very happy little boy. Always busy showing us the world through his eyes. He changed our lives forever. You can see all about George on the website we made about him

In our grief and the grief of those around us, we knew we had to find a way to bring something good from our sadness. We believe that every child deserves the unconditional love and support that George had. This has been very important to us throughout. Many generous people have supported us through this time and in 2009 raised £35,000 for Kids Company and War Child.

The next step has been to create a permanent way to honour George. We want his name to live on for us and all our friends and family. It is important to us that the love we have for George and the energy that would have been given to his life continues in a way that he would be proud of.

We want George to be proud of his legacy and we hope you will be proud of your association with The George Oliver Foundation.
