Deloitte Ride Across Britain 2010    


On 20th June 2010 Mark Oliver (George's Dad) completed a 9 day, 1000 mile cycle ride from John O'Groats to Lands End to raise the first funds for The George Oliver Foundation. He was taking part in the first ever Deloitte Ride Across Britain and along with 600 other riders Mark covered 15 counties. The ride passed by some incredible sights including Loch Lomond and Loch Ness, Ben Nevis, Lake Windemere and Cheddar Gorge.

It took blood, sweat and tears, not to mention some extremely sore legs, but he crossed the line in style and was presented his medal by Olympian James Cracknell. Mark's full account of the trip plus some more photos are on our facebook page,
